Let's continue with the events that took place during May Revolution Week.
On May 23rd, the Cabildo creates a Junta de Gobierno and decides that Cisneros should be president although not everyone was happy with this decision.

On May 24th, during that night, a representing group of Castelli and Saavedra went to Cisneros' house to threaten him and get him to quit. La Junta was dissolved and the Cabildo was summoned in the next morning.
